If you wish to explore your surroundings -- Snorkel or dive America's only living Coral Reef.  Charter a fishing boat or rent your own.   Visit the Dolphin Research Center and swim with the the dolphins, or visit the Museum of Natural History and learn the history and culture of the keys.  Check the Visitor's Center for helpful ideas and suggestions.  Interesting day trips might include a trip to Ft.
